The Intergovernmental Working Group on the Right to Development will hold its 24^th session from 15 - 19 May 2023, 11:00-13:00 and 15:00-17:00, in Room XX/ Hybrid with RSI-platform Zoom, Palais des Nations, Geneva.

At this session, the Working Group will continue to review progress in the implementation of the right to development and hold an interactive dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on the right to development and with the Chair of the Expert Mechanism on the Right to Development.

The Working Group will also consider and conduct intergovernmental negotiations of the second revised text of the draft convention on the right to development. Following this process, the Chair-Rapporteur will submit the final text of the draft convention to the Human Rights Council, as mandated by the Council.

UN Member and Observer States, specialized agencies and other international organizations, national human rights institutions with "A status" accreditation, and NGOs with ECOSOC consultative status may participate in the Working Group.

All participants are required to register using the registration form for the 24th session of the Working Group. The registration will remain open until 17:00 Geneva time, Friday, 12 May 2023.
