As called for by the Human Rights Council in its resolution 51/12, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights will convene an expert meeting for States, local and regional governments and other key stakeholders to discuss enhancing capacity-building for local governments to incorporate human rights into all their work.
