LDCs/SIDS Trust Fund beneficiaries

Since it became operational on 1 January 2014, the LDCs/SIDS Trust Fund has organized 5 Fellowship Programmes (in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019) and supported 197 delegates and fellows (114 women, 83 men), coming from 71 of the 72 LDCs/SIDS (86 from Africa, 30 from Asia, 40 from the Caribbean and Latin America and 41 from the Pacific).

    Due to the travel restrictions imposed by the COVID 19 pandemic the LDCs/SIDS Trust Fund was not able to support participation of LDCs/SIDS Delegates at HRC43 resumed session (June 2020), HRC44 (June-July 2020) and HRC45 (September- October 2020).
