海地/人权：联合国独立专家对海地的后续访问

日内瓦(2013年2月27日）-联合国海地人权状况独立专家米歇尔·福斯特将于2013年3月2日至9日访问海地，以评估该国人权状况较其上一次（2012年11月）访问以来的进展。

福斯特先生表示：“这次访问将主要对太子港以外的海地人权状况进行调查。我希望获得关于生活在首都之外的海地人真实情况的第一手信息，为此，我将访问三个省以听取他们的意见。”

在访问期间，福斯特先生将与来自海地当局、议会、国家人权机构（公民保卫者办公室）、外交使团、联合国海地稳定特派团（联海稳定团）及联合国机构、人权捍卫者和民间社会组织的代表展开会晤。

其任务旨在用实地收集的最新信息更新和完善其报告中的分析，从而更好地为他3月20日向人权理事会呈递报告作准备。

独立专家将于2013年3月8日上午11点在联合国海地稳定特派团后勤基地会议室召开新闻发布会，届时将公布其访问的初步意见。
