背景
It belongs to the Indo-European family, Slavonic group, West Slavonic subgroup, and is spoken by 12 million people. All Czech and Slovak dialects are inherently intelligible. Czech is a Slavic language written in the Roman script. The foundations of the alphabet were laid by religious reformer Jan Hus, in the early 15th century.
