Pursuant to A/HRC/PRST/43/1, wherein the President of the Human Rights Council called upon all States to ensure that all human rights are respected, protected, and fulfilled while combating the pandemic and that their responses to the COVID-19 pandemic are in full compliance with their human rights obligations and commitments.

The President also called upon the HC to present an oral update to the Human Rights Council. Member States were invited to submit their brief inputs to inform the High Commissioner's oral update, sharing all measures taken in compliance with international human rights obligations.
