2020 ad-hoc election for a member from the Western European and Other States regional group

A vacancy was declared for one seat belonging to the quota of seats of the Western European and Other States Regional Group, the term of which will expire on 31 December 2022.

In accordance with the Provisional Rules of Procedure of the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (E/C.12/1990/4/Rev.1), States Parties of the Regional Group were notified of this vacancy. The States parties were invited to submit nominations within two months, that was by 21 June 2020.
