Pledges

  1. A Social Cohesion Program is conducted for Syrian children living outside the camps in cooperation with the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services and UNICEF Turkey and with the help of Provincial Child Committees on Child Rights in order to ensure their cohesion within society, to establish a platform for mutual dialog and information exchange between Syrian and Turkish children, to minimize social cohesion problems of theirs and to raise awareness on current risks and resources, to let them live according to their rights, and to develop mutual understanding and tolerance between two cultures.
  2. National Child Forums are held every year on 20 November as Universal Children’s Day with the participation of representatives of Child Rights Committee from all provinces. The 20th National Child Forum will be organized on November 20, 2019 and the theme of the forum will be “Assessing and Discussing of Social Cohesion Program”.
