Ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child on 19 July 1991
Ratified the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflict on 27 August 2002
Ratified the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children child prostitution and child pornography on 24 July 2003
Acceded to the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on a communications procedure on 7 October 2015
Pledges
- A Nordic Child Forum will be held in Copenhagen on 16 January 2020. Leading up to the event the children will participate in the drafting process of a “Declaration” on child participation and involvement.
