Succeeded to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on 12 October 1992

Ratified the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflict on 1 November 2002

Ratified the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children child prostitution and child pornography on 13 May 2002

Pledges

1. Pursuant to the Act on the Award for the Promotion of the Rights of the Child (in force since 2003), on November 20, 2018, on the day of the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, an award for promotion of the rights of the child is awarded.
2. Other activities to mark the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child are considered to take place at the national level, in which the members of the Council for Children are involved.
