Background

The Special Rapporteur on the human rights to water and sanitation, Pedro Arrojo-Agudo, will focus his report to the 48th session of the Human Rights Council on plans and priorities of the mandate (2020-2023). For the preparation of this report, the Special Rapporteur will consult as many stakeholders as possible:

Timeline of the consultation process

1 December 2020: Online consultation with member States
The Special Rapporteur is convening an online consultation with member States.

1-3 December 2020: Series of online public consultation with civil society
The Special Rapporteur on the human rights to safe drinking water and sanitation is convening public online consultation on the plans and priorities of the mandate for the next three years (2020-2023).
