Follow-up to country visit recommendations
In October 2016, the former Special Rapporteur Ms. Rita Izák-Ndiaye, wrote to all States visited officially by her predecessor and herself to inquire about the implementation of the recommendations contained in the country visit reportsvisited officially by her predecessor, Gay MacDougall, and herself, up to 2015, to inquire about the implementation of the recommendations contained in the country visit reports. The former Special Rapporteur wishes to thank Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, France, Greece, Hungary, Rwanda and Viet Nam for their responses. An overview of the main developments in the States concerned regarding the implementation of the recommendations is provided in her 2017 report to the General Assembly (A/72/165, paras 46 - 72).
