UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights issues findings on Colombia, Republic of Korea, Republic of Moldova and Russian Federation

GENEVA (9 October 2017) – The UN Committee on the Economic, Social and Cultural Rights has published its findings on the countries it examined during its latest session, held from 18 September to 6 October 2017, in Geneva: Colombia, Republic of Korea, Republic of Moldova and Russian Federation.

The findings cover how the respective State is doing with regard to implementing the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, detailing positive developments, main areas of concern, and recommendations for action.  The findings, officially known as concluding observations, can be found here.

The Committee will next meet from 12 to 29 March  2017 to review the following countries: Bangladesh, Central African Republic, New Zealand, Niger and Spain.
