On 21 February 2017, the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights held a day of general discussion with States, businesses, trade unions, civil society, NHRIs and academics a practical tool to help States ensure that legislation and policies are in place to protect people whose economic, social and cultural rights are negatively affected by business activities.
