The Human Rights Council, in its resolution 19/32, requested the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to organize a workshop on the various aspects relating to the impact of the application of unilateral coercive measures on the enjoyment of human rights by the affected populations in the States targeted.
The workshop was held on 5 April 2013 in Geneva and report on the proceedings of the workshop (A/HRC/24/20) was submitted to the Council at its twenty-third session.
