Decriminalisation of drug users

A surge on war on drugs, for small possession, violates human rights. It impacts on the right to health and is not effective. Participants, at an event held at the margins of the current session of UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs 64th session, recommend governments to change their policy on punitive drug control measures - instead - to fully decriminalise people who personal use drugs and expand access to harm reduction and social care.
