“I am very worried about the developments on the ground today – in particular the impact of renewed use of armed force on civilians. It is absolutely critical that Azerbaijan and Armenia return to the peace process and work on an agreement grounded in human rights. This is more urgent than ever.

Full respect for international human rights law and international humanitarian law, including ensuring access to humanitarian assistance by the affected population, is paramount.”
