Regional Consultation for GRULAC - Panama City
Background
This two-day consultation, held in Panama City on 11 and 12 October 2018, brought together experts and practitioners, representatives of Member States, United Nations agencies, intergovernmental organisations, regional economic commissions, the private sector, civil society, — including non-governmental organisations — community leaders, and independent experts. For a fully participatory and inclusive approach, due consideration was also given to specific groups.
This was part of the Special Rapporteur’s series of regional consultations to identify and promote good practices in the practical implementation of the right to development worldwide.
