General Assembly events on reprisals

Intimidation and reprisals for cooperation with the UN has received increased attention at the margins of the General Assembly. Since 2017, OHCHR has organized side-events to discuss with Member States and civil society how best to prevent and address reprisals, including how the UN can improve its response.
