This publication analyses the two human rights principles of the Global Compact in depth, and explores their practical meaning. The report is based on the policy reports and actual practice of four companies. The conclusion is that a proactive approach to securing human rights contributes to a company’s ability to counter risks in the area and maintain its licenses.
