The Special Rapporteur on trafficking in persons, especially women and children, of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, Sigma Huda, will visit Lebanon from 7 to 16 September 2005.

The Special Rapporteur is scheduled to go to Beirut and Tripoli to gather first-hand information on the question of human trafficking in the country.
