UN Committee on Enforced Disappearances has published findings on Chile, Italy and Peru

GENEVA (25 April 2019) — The UN Committee on Enforced Disappearances (CED) has published its findings on Chile, Italy and Peru, which it examined during the Committee’s latest session from 8 to 18 April in Geneva.

The findings contain positive aspects of how the respective States are implementing the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance, highlight matters of concern and make recommendations.

The reports may be found on-line on the Committee Web page for the session.

The next session of the Committee on Enforced Disappearances is scheduled to take place from 30 September to 11 October 2019 to review the reports of Bolivia and Slovakia.
