BACKGROUND

It is spoken in southern Punjab and northern Sind, Indus river valley, Jampur area. It is also spoken in the United Kingdom. Saraiki belongs to the Indo-European, Indo-Iranian, Indo-Aryan family. Until recently it was considered to be a dialect of Panjabi.
