BACKGROUND

It is a kind of minority language in China and belongs to Turkic language family. AS a result, many words and grammar structures of it are similar with those of the national language in Turkey. It is believed that Arabic characters have ever been used to write Salar Language in history, but the particular writing system has been forgotten. That is why Latin characters are used for this translation. Nowdays, most of the native-speakers of Salar live in northeast China, especially Qinghai and Ganshu Province.
