The International Independent Expert Mechanism to Advance Racial Justice and Equality in Law Enforcement will hold its 1st private session from 28 February-4 March 2022 in Geneva.
During its session, the Expert Mechanism will hold a public meeting open to all stakeholders on Thursday 3 March 2022 from 10:00-12:00 in Geneva at the Palais des Nations (Room XVIII). The meeting will be webcast (https://media.un.org/en/webtv) and held in a hybrid format. It can also be listened to here - https://ecouter-en-direct.unog.ch/en/. Interpretation will be provided in the six UN languages.
The purpose of the public meeting is to reach out, seeking information and views from all stakeholders on the implementation of the Expert Mechanism’s mandate in terms of Human Rights Council Resolution 47/21.
