An election was held to elect five members of the Committee on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families to replace those whose terms of office expire on 31 December 2007, in accordance with article 72, paragraphs 1 to 5, of the Convention. The election took place at the third meeting of States parties in New York on 6 December 2007.

Results

The five members elected to the Committee were:

Mr. Alba, Ms. Cubias Medina, Mr. El Borai and Mr. El Jamri were already members of CMW.
