Summary

The report of the Expert Mechanism focuses on the concrete steps needed to ensure access to justice, accountability and redress for the excessive use of force and other human rights violations by law enforcement officials against Africans and people of African descent, and proposes a series of recommendations in this regard. The report also includes an overview of the Mechanism’s activities since its previous annual report.
