Summary

In her report, the Independent Expert on the enjoyment of human rights by persons with albinism, Ikponwosa Ero, presents the findings of the round table on albinism and human rights, held in Geneva on 20 and 21 September 2018. The round table brought together scholars, policymakers and civil society stakeholders with the aim of building consensus on priorities for research, advocacy and policy on albinism, spiritual and cultural practices and human rights. The report highlights the outcomes of the round table, along with relevant recommendations.
