Summary

At its fifty-first session, the Human Rights Council held, pursuant to Council resolution 18/8, its annual half-day panel discussion on the rights of Indigenous Peoples. Pursuant to Council resolution 48/11, the panel discussion focused on the impact of social and economic recovery plans in the context of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic on Indigenous Peoples, with a special focus on food security. The summary of the discussion, contained in the present report, is being submitted in accordance with Council resolution 48/11.
