The present report, submitted pursuant to Human Rights Council decision 2/102, contains an overview of the special procedures system, highlighting activities undertaken by mandate holders in 2021.
It also contains information on the work of the Coordination Committee of Special Procedures and additional activities undertaken by the special procedures system.
The main points and the conclusions reached during the twenty-seventh annual meeting of special rapporteurs, independent experts and chairs of working groups of the special procedures are also elaborated upon.
