Summary

The Secretariat has the honour to transmit to the Human Rights Council the report of the Special Rapporteur on the implications for human rights of the environmentally sound management and disposal of hazardous substances and wastes, Baskut Tuncak, on his mission to Brazil. In the report, submitted pursuant to Council resolution 36/15, the Special Rapporteur sets out the findings and recommendations derived from his official country visit carried out from 2 to 13 December 2019.
