Summary

The Independent Expert on human rights and international solidarity visited Qatar from 2 to 10 September 2019, in accordance with Human Rights Council resolution 35/3. The main purpose of the visit was to learn and understand how the State incorporates human rights into its international solidary strategy and action, to collect good practices in this regard and to identify areas for improvement. The Independent Expert also sought to understand how solidarity was applied within the country.
