The present report is submitted pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution 18/25, in which the Council requested the Secretary-General to report to Council at its twentyfourth session on the role and achievements of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in assisting the Government and people of Cambodia in the promotion and protection of human rights.
