Each year the Secretary-General prepares and presents a report to the Human Rights Council entitled “Cooperation with the United Nations, its representatives and mechanisms in the field of human rights”. This report provides an update on the subject of intimidation and reprisals for cooperation with the UN.
The report summarizes the main trends and contains a selection of cases brought to the attention of the UN. The decision to include cases is made on the basis of the principles of ‘do no harm’ and informed consent. Highlights activities, policy developments and good practices within the UN system.

Inputs will be processed and allegations verified according to OHCHR’s methodology on human rights monitoring and reporting. The report of the Secretary-General on cooperation with the UN will be presented and discussed during the September session of the Human Rights Council.
