Purpose: To inform the Secretary-General’s report to the General Assembly, pursuant to resolution 75/184.

Background

General Assembly resolution 75/184 requests the Secretary-General to “continue to seek further the views of Member States and relevant agencies and to submit to the Human Rights Council at its relevant session and to the General Assembly at its seventy-seventh session a comprehensive report on the implementation of the present resolution, including relevant practical recommendations”.

Key questions and types of input/comments sought

The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights would welcome all Member States to provide any relevant information with regard to the implementation of the resolution, including current issues of concern with respect to missing persons.
