2022 Call for submissions pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution A/HRC/49/L.27 on Cooperation with Georgia

Purpose: for the forthcoming oral update and the written report of the High Commissioner for Human Rights covering the period from 01 June 2021 to 31 May 2022

The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution 49/L.27 entitled “Cooperation with Georgia” and adopted on 1 April 2022, invites contributions for the forthcoming oral update and the written report of the High Commissioner for Human Rights covering the period from 01 June 2021 to 31 May 2022, from States, United Nations entities, specialized agencies and related organizations, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations and national human rights institutions.

Resolution 49/L.27 on “Cooperation with Georgia” (advance unedited draft version in English) is available here. The final version of the adopted Resolution will be updated.

The High Commissioner’s previous reports on Cooperation with Georgia, presented pursuant to Human Rights Council resolutions 34/37, 37/40 40/28, 43/37 and 46/30 respectively, are accessible as follows:

Next Steps

Written submissions should be sent electronically in Word format to the email: ohchr-ecasection@un.org indicating “Human Rights Council resolution on Cooperation with Georgia - Input" in the subject heading. Submissions should not exceed three pages and should be received by 16 May 2022, at the latest. Written contributions will not be translated and should therefore be submitted in English only.
