President of Venezuela to address Human Rights Council on 12 November

BACKGROUND RELEASE

9 November 2015

The Human Rights Council will hear an address from Mr. Nicolás Maduro Moros, President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on Thursday, 12 November, in the context of a special meeting of the Council held as a matter of courtesy at the request of the Government of Venezuela.

The special meeting will start at 3.00 pm in Room 20 and will be webcast live on www.webtv.un.org.
