As part of its celebrations for the 75^th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, UN Human Rights will open its Geneva headquarters, Palais Wilson, to the public on Saturday 30 September 2023, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is supported by the City and Canton of Geneva.

Please come and visit us to enjoy a fun-filled day and learn about human rights!

• Puppet show: How do we explain human rights to children? We asked a puppeteer to take on the challenge.
• Circus workshop and games: Children will learn acrobatics, juggling and make their own circus props to join the fun.

Heritage

• Self-guided audio tour of Palais Wilson: The architectural icon of Geneva, Palais Wilson was also the first home of the League of Nations. Walk through the building and discover its history and secrets. Please download the app before your visit. The tour is accessible to the hearing impaired.

• In black and white: Go back in time with historical photos of Palais Wilson when it was known as the Hotel National and the first headquarters of the League of Nations.
