Open-ended Working Group on an optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child

In pursuance of paragraph 3 of resolution A/HRC/RES/11/1, the first session of the working group was held from 14 to 18 December 2009, in Room XX of the Palais des Nations (Geneva).

Participants
The working group is open-ended. This means that all UN Member and Observer States, intergovernmental organizations and non-governmental organizations with ECOSOC consultative status may attend public meetings of the working group.
