After an accident left him in a wheelchair, former ice hockey player Eric Grassien made it his mission to improve access for himself and others on public transportation in Geneva.

The Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities, notes that by 2050, persons with disabilities will make up 15 per cent of the urban population – a figure of around 937 million.

December 3rd is observed as the International Day of Person with disabilities.
