UN Committee on Elimination of Discrimination against Women publishes concluding observations on Azerbaijan, Denmark, Ecuador, Eritrea, Gabon, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Tuvalu

GENEVA (6 March 2015) – The UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) has published its findings on women’s rights in the States it examined during its session from 16 February to 6 March: Azerbaijan, Denmark, Ecuador, Eritrea, Gabon, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Tuvalu.

The reports, known as concluding observations, can be found here:

The concluding observations contain positive aspects of a respective State’s implementation of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, highlight main areas of concern, and detail the Committee’s recommendations for action.
