UN SPECIAL RAPPORTEUR ON RIGHT TO THE HIGHEST ATTAINABLE STANDARD OF HEALTH VISITS SWEDEN

Paul Hunt, United Nations Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health, will visit Sweden at the invitation of the Government on 18 June 2007.

This is a follow-up to the mission to Sweden he undertook in January 2006. The Special Rapporteur will seize this opportunity to discuss the report and its recommendations with representatives of the Government and civil society organizations.

The Special Rapporteur will host a press conference on Monday, 18 June 2007 at 12:30 am at the International Press Centre of the Ministry for Foreign
Affairs, Fredsgatan 6, Stockholm.
